newAge

This was a group project by my game development class team, 'Unusual Undertaking'.

newAge is a short, top-down top-down RPG where you take control of Buggy, a silly little roach girl as she makes a mad dash across the city in preparation for the New Age. As the clock strikes 12, the world itself shifts into a new technological age. Buildings change, strange creatures appear, and you just GOTTA be informed on what's new in the coming weeks. Therefore, the Least Convenient Store chain has everyone covered, selling calendars to the New Age.

Buggy, who procrastinated on purchasing hers now needs to make it to her local store to get one, but not without any opposition. She'll need to go against Boris, a pushy store clerk that won't let her get the calendar in time because he just wants to go home. He never forgets a face.

Achieving the calendar and finally making it home during the chaos of the new age rollover lets Buggy sleep comfortably, knowing she'll be fine in the coming months of the... NEW AGE!
